Stable frame with low, wide step-through
Comfort and safety come together in the Avignon C8 HMB. The low, wide step-through makes it easy to get on and off. And on the road you'll experience great stability and good road holding. This is because the battery is integrated in the down tube, creating a low centre of gravity. The battery is easy to remove from the bike for charging — simply take it out from the top. Want to charge it in the bike? No problem. The charging point is positioned high up.
Wide tyres and powerful disc brakes for a safe feeling
The Avignon C8 HMB is fitted with extra-wide tyres for good road holding and increased comfort. The Magura disc brakes provide excellent, easy-to-modulate braking power in all conditions. The large brake levers are also easy to operate. You are always in control.
Protected with GPS
The Avignon C8 HMB is a bike with Gazelle Connect. It's a smart e-bike with theft protection. A module connected to the Internet is built into the e-bike. This module ensures that the bike is always traceable using GPS. This is also clearly marked on the bike frame, so thieves will think twice before trying to make off with it. If the bike starts moving, you will receive a notification via the Gazelle App.
Integrated lighting makes you easier to see
The daytime running lights on the Avignon C8 HMB do their job, day and night. The powerful front light (70 lux) is integrated into the mudguard. And with the rear light in the carrier, you are easily visible not only from behind but also from the side.

An intelligent battery on the down tube
Bosch's lithium-ion batteries are among the most advanced on the market. The intelligent battery management system protects them against overheating, overloading and complete discharge, guaranteeing a long battery life. The high energy density and efficient operation ensure optimum range. With the Avignon's integrated 625-Wh battery, you'll always have enough range. The battery is secured in the frame with a lock. You can easily remove it from the bike using the bike key, so you can recharge the battery anywhere.
The wind is always at your back with a Bosch Active Line Plus motor
The Bosch Active Line Plus gives natural and silent assistance. With a torque of 50 Nm you can handle practically any terrain. Whether flat or hilly, with this motor you arrive comfortably at your destination.
