If you choose the Esprit, you are choosing years of cycling fun. Everything about the Esprit is sturdy and strong: from the aluminium frame and the extra-rigid front fork to the deep section rims. Whatever surface you're riding on, from sand to gravel paths, your ride will always be stable and safe.

Additional loading capacity at the front

The Esprit rear carrier is equipped with the MIK HD system. Simply attach a bicycle bag, basket or another accessory. You can easily switch between different accessories whenever you need to. But we know that sometimes you might want to take extra stuff with you or that you might want to keep an eye on your valuables. In that case, our optional front carrier is what you need. It's easy to mount, looks cool and is perfect for carrying a backpack, briefcase or handbag.

When it comes to optimum control, hydraulic disc brakes are a must. Because they provide the braking force and the precision to brake safely at any time. The Esprit has high-performance Shimano disc brakes with easy-to-use, extended brake levers. Combined with the broad, grippy Schwalbe tyres, the disc brakes will ensure that you feel in control in all conditions.

At dusk or when it is dark, you obviously want to see and be seen well. The integrated headlight is characteristic of the Gazelle Esprit. It is both beautifully designed and practical. By being integrated, this headlight is virtually indestructible. It keeps you safe on your bike.

An intelligent battery on the down tube

Shimano's high-performance, lithium-ion batteries have an intelligent battery-management system that provides the maximum possible range. The battery is ergonomically designed, waterproof and can withstand a knock. You'll experience more stability and a natural cycling experience due to its position on the down tube. You can choose the battery capacity that suits you: 418 Wh or 504 Wh. The battery is reliably secured on your frame with a lock and is easily removed using your bike key. Convenient, as you can charge the battery either on or off the bike.
