This is my first Gazelle electric bike, and my second electric bike. I wanted lower maintenance than my Trek so I went with Gates belt drive and Enviolo shifting. Much smoother ride compared to having chain and derailleur. I also updated my bike to have front fork suspension. I live in hilly area of northern Virginia and ride on gravel and asphalt paths with a lot of root cracks. Front suspension has been amazing to take pressure off my arthritic hands. Superior ride compared to my Trek with upgraded components. Big plus is being able to adjust handlebars while out on a ride without tools. Really helps my posture my hands. Well done Gazelle!

This is a well made...
This is a well made bike; it is quite expensive because of the features like the nice screen/electronics and shock absorbers. The bike is heavy with a large battery. I purchase the bike because the battery was supposed to have a long range. However the battery runs down much more quickly than they advertise. I have a relatively flat commute to work, about 8 km (5 miles) total a day. I go from 100% charge to ~20% in 4 days (32 km) of riding using a combination of Eco, Tour, and Auto, with only occasional Turbo. I am not heavy (<50 kilos) so the bike should not be having to work too hard! I have had to purchase another charger to keep at work in case I run the battery down too low and can't get home (as I said the bike with very heavy and hard to ride without power).
