Bosch's lithium-ion batteries are among the most modern on the market. Their intelligent battery management system guarantees a long lifespan, and efficient energy control ensures optimal range. With the integrated 540 Wh battery, you have more than enough range. The battery is securely locked in the frame with a lock. Use the bike key to easily remove it for charging wherever you wish.

I got this for commuting, having no desire to get a car, and now I'm sure I'll never need one. This is, by far, the most comfortable bike I've ever ridden. And it just *flies* up hills.
The bike is lovely, and works well. It is comfortable, except for the saddle, which I have already swapped out for a Brooks, because I prefer support, rather than sinking into the saddle. The reason I am not giving five stars, is that the Intuvia 100 display does not work properly. It fails to start up properly, and there is no way to reset it, without popping the battery out of it, and re-inserting. A new Intuvia 100 has been ordered, but since this was a known issue with a number of Intuvias manuafactured for Bosch, this should have been checked, and taken care of before sending this bike to the dealer. This is the second Gazelle that I’ve owned, and both have had “known issues,” which required multiple trips to the bike dealer (across town) to fix. Quality control is lacking.
The specifications of each Gazelle are drawn up with the greatest of care. However, we may, for example due to scarcity, temporarily replace a part with another, at least equivalent, part. We hope for your understanding in this matter.
